• Derby Fesitval Chow Wagon Not Cool

  Wife and I visited the Derby Festival Chow Wagon today. Wished we hadn't, except for the bratwurst.
  
  The atmosphere is depressing. Wobbling picnic tables, some even broken. Dirty and dusty. Definitely not an "in place." Used to be many downtown office buildings would empty out and fill the place.

• Churchill Downs Gets A Taste of its Own Medicine

  Cheers for Judge Denise Clayton who overturned a provision in a Metro Louisville ordinance exempting Churchill Downs from the smoking ban. Serves Churchill Downs right for throwing the bar owners under the bus.
