Sean Delonas, the cartoonist who drew the ridiculous cartoon involving the chimp, is apparently from the Lehigh Valley... Bethlehem to be exact. Christopher Baxter, of The Morning Call, reports that Delonas has a home in the Bethlehem area.
Furious voices erupted Wednesday nation wide when a comic appeared in the New York Post linking President Barack Obama to a chimp.

On Thursday, July 1, I sent an e-mail to various staff members at The Morning Call and The Express-Times, as well as some local politicians, bloggers, and readers. The content was regarding a TMC reader forum that was completely flooded with pure hatred.
I hope everyone had fun yesterday. The weather wasn't the greatest but the rain held back for the most part. The temperature was nice and calm, too, and to my surprise, it wasn't muggy at all (at least where I was.)
