Last week President Obama announced the deployment of 30,000 additional troops to Afghanistan as part of a new counterinsurgency strategy to secure the population, pressure the Taliban, and train indigenous forces. The Bush administration, after launching a war against Al Qaeda and the host Taliban [...] It would appear, that stupid actions have consequences and, as it turns out, intended reactions.
Recently, the Palestinian Authority went behind Israel's back, again, and requested that the United Nations unilaterally grant it Statehood status.
