Oh no, it's nearly that time again. I can't believe it's only 24 days until Christmas Day and 20 shopping days left. Groan.
I can barely speak I'm so tired, but I've done it. I've finished my NaNo novel, all 50,092 words of it.
I can't believe after all the typing I've been doing this month that I still have 19,000 words to find in the next nine days. Scary stuff.

Today is the Jersey Air Display and I was lucky enough to finish work at noon, R, S and self loaded 'the rear gunner' - as my father calls Grumpy - into the car and took him to St Ouen's beach for a walk. Also' [...]

Yesterday was our fifth wedding anniversary and as well as buying me a beautiful card and long-stemmed red roses, R also bought me this. As you can see it's sheds (well, beach huts, but I love them and originally wanted to paint my shed like one) [...]

The shed has had a makeover and instead of Fushias in the three blue pots alongside, I have a different coloured rose bush. There's a yellow, white and a pink one, and the blooms are beautiful.
Lunch on Saturday was perfect. Great food (Caesar salad followed by lobster salad for me, accompanied by several bottles of bubbles and much hilarity. Later, having almost talked and giggled ourselves hoarse, Sach (the organized one) led us out to the waiting taxi that she'd arranged,' [...]

The finalists for this years Shed of the Year competition have been announced, and you'll never guess whose shed made it this far... yes, mine. So exciting.
It's my gorgeous son's 18th birthday on 25th June, and I'd like to wish him a truly fabulous future.
Happy Fathers' Day to all the dads out there. My own is a truly wonderful chap and I'm very lucky to have him as a father. I probably appreciate this all the more because I remember the night of his plane crash (so many years ago) [...] 
R took grumps for his daily trot along the beach today, where they both had a quick paddle in the sea before returning home again. J has taking his final exam - such a relief.
