Our lovely Carol has set this fortnights Quirky Crafts Challenge and it's a nice easy one for you. Yes it's "Christmas"
I've made a Christmas Card for the challenge since I added up all my cards yesterday and realised I still need to make about another 20! Whoops!' [...]

I have a claim to fame! I've been featured on the
I made this thank you card for my Mum. We went over to Bradford yesterday to see her and my Auntie Ann and I took it with us to give to her. We had a really lovely day complete with chocolate cake! Yum.
I made this card for my friend Melissa whose birthday was on Tuesday. I used the gorgeous My Minds Eye papers and rubs on and my adorable little fox stamp by Imaginisce. He's so cute! The circles are Nestabilities used in the Cuttlebug of course.
More fairy Christmas cards. These are the last of the fairy ones that I made while the electricity was off last week. They are all pretty basic as they are for Ellie's friends at school but I'm sure her friends will like them.
Don't you just love My Minds Eye stuff? These papers are my favourite at the moment. I just love the colours and they are so great to work with.
This week's Quirky Crafts Challenge is set by Gez and is "Vintage"
After having a lovely long break over the summer the Quirky Crafts challenge is now back on. We also have a prize up for grabs too which is this lovely set of goodies. This week Cazzy has set the challenge which is "Rough and Smooth"
On Monday we went to Machrie beach near the golf course. There is a little park there which kept the kids amused while Richie and Gayle tied their bikes to the front of my car to keep them secure while we were on the beach.
On Tuesday we went to the Balmichael Centre which was just up the road from where we were staying in Shiskine. Ellie loved feeding the ducks with a special bag of duck food that we bought at the cafe.
This is an altered hot chocolate tin that I turned into a pen holder for my mum. I entered it into a competition on Trimcraft and at the moment I'm in joint 2nd place and only need 2 votes to get into poll postion.

My daughter's teacher is retiring on Friday. I thought I'd make her a Retirement kit using one of the paint tins I ordered.
