I saw this kitchen featured on Apartment Therapy last month and I love it! I keep staring at it dreaming of a new kitchen.
For the last week or two, I have been working non-stop to get these cat and dog illustrations done. It was kind of stressful, since I really shy away from making anything too true-to-life (my comfort zone is making abstract patterns), but I'm so glad I did' [...]

I can't believe my husband and I ever thought of doing this ourselves, pouring cement is one tough job! Now that I see the professionals doing this, I'm glad I get to sit back and watch. 
Wednesday my husband and I cut wire mesh for the circle forms in preparation for the cement delivery that is getting here in about 10 hours. It felt like it was never going to get done and I'm giddy just thinking' [...]
