  Unlike our sarcastic praise for Chuck Devore, I have to take a minute to say some kind words about Assemblyman Jim Silva, who voted against the sale of the Orange County Fairgrounds.

  Over the years I've defended Jim Silva against accusations.

  Jim is not articulate, and doesn't think on his feet.

• Mickadeit - Righeimer's Conduit?

  We're getting info that OC Register columnist Frank Mickadeit is going to be the conduit for Jim Righeimer's propaganda.

  It's not enough that Righeimer has his own column in the Daily Pilot, and that Peter Buffa spreads disinformation. They need Mickadeit.

  Righeimer's part of the Mansoor/Rohrabacher wingnut alliance, and he's trying to' [...]

• Chuck Devore Never Gave me a Half Empty Ink Cartridge

  Yep, Carly Fiorina was in the OC today.

  We weren't invited to her Carlyfornia Dreaming kickoff, but we wouldn't have gone anyway.

  But as progressives, folks who are interested in good government and consumer rights, and tired of being ripped off all the time, we're supporting Chuck Devore.
