Aiden got two new bikes this summer, a road bike and a mountain bike. From road rides to mountain biking and cyclocross she did her first race last week and was the jr girls winner. Go Aiden!

A few ideas:
Allow events to change you. You have to be willing to grow. Growth is different from something that happens to you. You produce it. You live it. The prerequisites for growth: the openness to experience events and the willingness to be changed by them.
Forget about good. Good [...]
A week and a half off to spend time with Suzy has left me feeling disconnected from the road. Today I will ride. I will likely get rained but that is ok. A cleanse. A day of redemption. A time to hunker down and reflect on [...]
And while you’re at it, go check out the slideshow of Aiden’s soccer team. Photos courtesy of Leo Hopf.

We by no means have the firepower, the resources, the sponsors, or the troops to challenge Rapha Continental but we do have the spirit of adventure. The search for beauty, style, love, passion, inspiration, and the lost art of cycling. Dogs, Bicycles, Planes, Art, Coffee, Vegetables, Pain, [...]
Four months on a bicycle between Cairo, Egypt and Cape Town South Africa is not your typical African safari.
En route with the Tour d’ Afrique, the world’s longest bicycle race and expedition, the Zenga Bros. (CAN) and Brian Vernor (USA) make light of this physically daunting trip by [...]
Il grande Fausto

This is my friend Ed. He tucks his jersey into his shorts but we still like him. We had coffee this morning and talked about bikes.
Then I went for a ride north and came home on [...]
After twice being delayed by Jehovah’s Witness at the front door we departed under threatening skies for the Bear River Migratory Bird Refuge on the north end of the Great Salt Lake. A quick stop for $11 sandwiches and designer [...]
Yea, so Art put the thump on the masters at Hell of the North last weekend. I had the fortune of riding in the neutral support car so I had a bird’s eye view of how it unfolded. Art won with grace and strength — tact and mercy. A break [...]
A good day out although a bit breezy. Got to see some friends, Nick, Mike Kracht, Magaret, and Dave Iltis. I met Pro David Clinger who now lives in Sandy. He threw the hammer down on the A group and won the sprint. No surprise. After the race [...]

This is Kiki. She’s top notch! She’s got a new blog at www.kmulliner.com
Now, this is Kiki’s daughter, Kat. She has a way of charming dromedaries. What’s with that ridiculous smile???
Oh my Alicia, it’s been a long time since I’ve seen you. Thank your for being you. I will miss most your charm, your wit, and your spunk. Travel on brave one. We will all miss you!!
Our love,

When I returned home from my ride yesterday I noticed my rear wheel was out of true. I threw it in the truing and discovered the problem was a broken rim. So long…..

Built in 1891 for the International Order of Odd Fellows, a fraternal organization that engaged in social and charitable activities, the building is one of few remaining examples of Richardsonian Romanesque commercial architecture in Utah, [...]

Rode for three hours today hoping to explore the dirt roads north of the city that lead out to the lake. Unfortunately, all roads were gated a mile or so into the adventure. We went on a tour of Swedetown instead. Both Ed and Victor have new cross bikes. Victor [...]
CX finals was yesterday. It was sunny and warm in December. Bart won the A’s. Art got 6th and Ohran won the A 35+. Fox was there sporting his rocker mullet. Kathy Sherwin crushed the women and most of the men. [...]
Bart won the A’s and Art O’Connor won the 35+ with Ohran in second. A clean sweep for Monavie/Cannondale.

[...]A Cryptozoologic Mystery
This abominable bicycle was found in a SLC park near my home where homeless people often sleep. It has been there for five days unlocked and untouched. Judging from the great care taken to fur up this bike for the upcoming winter, I assume it has a loving [...]
The Dave Zabriskie interview is finally posted over at The Church of the Big Ring. The first of two parts so walk your ass on over there and have a look.
I’ve spent many hours on this design. Four months conceptualizing. Finding that right balance of beauty, ease, sophistication, and of course Love. Why shouldn’t a website emulate Love? People create, people want products to create.

She is in peace now. I love you baby. I will miss you forever. Thanks for so many years of wonderful adventures.

My baby is struggling. She’s at least 14 yrs old. I love her more than anything. Movement has been challenging. I have to help her up and down the stairs, [...]
That is a strange statement, but the more I think about it, the more I concur. In an error of judgement, I rented a rather violent video last night, which I quit watching half way through. Twice the line was mentioned in the movie, “Scars are the roadmap to your [...]

I think Sly Fox hired a professional photographer. He eats lot of bacon and and rides a left handed bike, whatever that is. The bacon and watermelon which seems to be doing wonders for his complexion. No wonder he climbs at 124 watts.
Some more critical mass photos turned up this week. See them here from k3llya on flikr

My new cross bike arrived last week. I’ve been out on it a couple of times and my only complaint is that the seat is too small. So, searching for the perfect saddle, I found this gem from the UK. It’s actually a Selle San [...]
