Here we are at the train station in Tours waiting for the train to Paris. We ended up with the very same taxi driver on both trips to and from the train station. Weird, huh?
Yes, after many weeks of blog neglect I am finally posting photos from our first week in France. Here we are arriving at Charles de Gaul on day one. We took the bullet train from there to Tours, then caught a taxi to the house.
Waiting an extra day (and a couple tablespoons of castor oil) paid off. Ezra Kelley O'Brien was born last night at 10:59 p.m., during a lightening storm, just one hour after his mom arrived at the birth center.
And I thought my iron-grilled, hotel room quesadilla was clever...
