Keith Allred, a former Harvard public policy professor, a cutting horse competitor and native Idahoan is expected to step up to be a Democratic candidate for Idaho governor.

Allred, of Twin Falls, is the director of the nonpartisan good-government group The Common Interest who is well known in the Idaho Legilsature.
