We're past Memorial Day and officially looking forward to Summer. In case you doubt Rockville's summer fun, here's a rundown of the weekly schedule in Town Center. Check the Town Square website regularly for specials. As always, if I've missed something, let me know!

Rockville Central friend Chas Hausheer dropped a note to remind us all of the open mic coming up this weekend at the Pump House, which is rapidly becoming my favorite place to hang out.
Although the forecasters continually mentioned rain, Hometown Holidays remained dry and mostly sunny during three days of festivities. About 18,000 people on Saturday and 30,000 on both Sunday and Monday attended the spectrum of events in Town Center.
Starting Monday, June 1, 2009 through December 31st, you can pick up a coupon code for 12 free parking visits in the Rockville Town Square parking garages. The only catch is you must live in the City limits, go in person to get the code, [...]

Back where I grew up in New Jersey, diners rule. All the locals would meet up in the booths and my family was always one of them. There’s only one place in Rockville to compare and that’s the Apollo Restaurant.

On Saturday, May 16, 2009, motorcycles will fill Rockville Town Square. With the help of some very dedicated Harley owners, Visarts at Rockville is raising fund for it's Education and Outreach programs with a special ride. All bikes are welcome.
Don't forget, the next Rockville Roundtable will be held on Wednesday, May 13, at 12:30 pm. We will meet at the new Indian restaurant in Town Square: Spice Xing. That's on Gibbs Street.
