So the interior is a big change from Takohachi. Both sides of the restaurant is open and has a warm inviting feeling. They usually run Japanese music in the background and have two flat screens in the bar side.

So, I took a look at Kaname-Izakaya's interior and it's coming together. An old style look and feel with lots of wood. Wooden bar and accents all over. The space is much larger than expected. Especially if you were in the old Takohachi.
